Best Cyber Monday 2015 deals on Apple iPad tablets, MacBook laptops, iMac desktops

You may have barely recovered from Black Friday, but retailers are already getting ready for round two of your shopping. At least for Cyber Monday, you can do your shopping in your pajamas. When it comes to Apple products, as in most cases, you might not see the eye-popping deals you get with Black Friday, but stores still are offering sales as more people avoid the malls and stick to the Internet for holiday purchasing.

Apple’s iPads are a good example of the difference between the two events. While there were many deals on the popular tablets for Black Friday, the specials dry up for Cyber Monday. Walmart is still continuing its $199 iPad mini 2 special, but Target doesn’t offer its store gift cards for any iPad as on Black Friday, Staples has no iPad sales, and Best Buy is only discounting the original iPad Air to a maximum of $50 off. B&H Photo is taking a mere $20 off a 32GB iPad mini 2, and MacMall continues to trim prices on most iPads, with price reductions of up to $40. Regional electronics retailer Hhgregg is taking 11 percent off all orders, which includes a range of iPad models, so that could be your best bet, especially if you’re grabbing a pricier tablet.

You’ll have better luck with MacBooks, as many configurations of Apple’s laptops are still discounted by B&H, Fry’s, and MacMall. B&H and Fry’s are lopping $100 off the base 11-inch MacBook Air, down to $799, while taking $120 off the base 13-inch Air ($879). B&H also is taking $120 off the base MacBook, and reducing the price of the 512GB SSD configuration by $170. B&H continues setting the pace with MacBook Pro discounts, taking $120 off the base non-Retina version, though MacMall offers discounts on other configurations.

Once again, B&H is most aggressive in reducing the price of the base 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, taking $150 off to drop the price to $1,149. The base 15-inch configuration sees its price reduced by $200, slightly more than MacMall’s $179.01 cut. B&H has more sales ranging from $200 to $300 on a number of 15-inch MacBook Pros, but MacMall has discounts on even more, though usually of a lower dollar amount.

B&H and Fry’s are slashing $150 off the new base iMac with 4K Retina display, lowering the price to $1,349. They also have big discounts on iMacs with 5K Retina displays, ranging from $170 off the base version to $200 on other models. Deals are more modest on the Mac mini, with the base $499 edition getting a $50 price reduction and the mid-tier configuration a $70 cut from B&H.
